Details of Google Chrome’s Newest AI Feature that Writes Content for Users
Google Chrome is the most basic browser thanks to Google’s original features. The now popular web browser also includes Google’s creative AI capability in the form of the Help Me Write feature. This feature is available for both Google Chrome for Mac and Windows PC starting with version M122 in English in the US.
Google says that the Help Me Write feature, like many other features, uses its Gemini Large Language model to power it. This feature can be used to either create something new or refine existing text in the same way that this feature works in Google Docs.
Additionally, Google mentioned that the tool “understands the context of the web page you’re visiting to suggest relevant content.” In addition, it allows Chrome to retrieve relevant information from the page about the object or something you are writing about, to make the paragraph richer.
How to enable “Help me write” in Google Chrome?
1. Open Google Chrome and sign in with your Google account if you haven’t already.
2. Next, go to Settings and tap on the three-dot menu.
3. Find the “Experimental AI” page.
4. Here you will see an option to enable “Help me write”.
5. Once enabled, right-click on an open text field in Chrome and select Help Me Write to begin.
