Edit Your Videos Like a Pro with Meta’s AI-Powered Tools – Now Available for Facebook and Instagram!
Meta, the social media giant owned by Mark Zuckerberg, has released two new AI-powered video editing features that can be used on Instagram and Facebook.
The first is Emu Video, which produces four-second videos accompanied by a caption, photo or image, and a caption. Another is Emu Edit, which offers users a simpler way to edit or edit videos using text prompts.
The latest tools are an improvement on Emu, which creates images based on text prompts. Emu serves as the basis for generative AI technology and various Instagram AI image editing tools that allow users to take a photo and change its visual style or background.
Meta also says that Emu Edit specifically focuses only on making changes that are essential in terms of the editing request – for example, asking to add text to the cap does not change anything else in the design of the cap.
Over the past year, companies and enterprises have increasingly embraced the emerging field of generative artificial intelligence, looking for improved capabilities and streamlined business processes following the release of OpenAI’s ChatGPT late last year.
According to Reuters, the social media giant has been making rapid strides in the AI universe, becoming one of its major focuses as it looks to compete with other giants such as Microsoft, Alphabet’s Google and Amazon.
In related news, Instagram has rolled out new features, including more than 20 new photo filters, 10 new English text-to-speech voices, six new text fonts, and custom AI stickers. These additions give users more ways to edit their content before sharing it.
According to the company, Instagram is adding 10 new English text-to-speech voices to choose from, available in select countries, and six new text fonts and styles available in hundreds of languages. To make your text stand out even more, you can now also add outlines to improve clarity.
