Elon Musk Reveals What’s Replacing Twitter Today – ‘X’
Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, has unveiled his ambitious plans for a major overhaul of the social media platform after announcing its new name as ‘X’. Musk tweeted that “X dot com now directs to Twitter dot com” and also mentioned that the interim X logo will be launched later today.
In another post, he wrote: “If a good enough X logo is released tonight, we’ll go global tomorrow.”

Twitter’s CEO also took to the social media platform, writing, “X is the space of the future for limitless interaction – focusing on voice, video, messaging, payments/banking – creating a global marketplace for ideas, goods, services and opportunities. Powered by AI, X will connect us all in ways we’ve only begun to imagine,” Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino tweeted.

Earlier on Sunday, Tesla’s CEO announced that he was changing the Twitter logo. Musk also shared the design of the new Twitter logo on social media and named it “X”. “And soon we will say goodbye to the Twitter brand and gradually to all the birds. If a good enough X logo is released tonight, tomorrow we will send worldwide,” Elon Musk tweeted.
“If a good enough X logo is released tonight, we’ll go global tomorrow,” he added. According to reports, Twitter is now part of a new company called X Corp after the merger. Elon Musk hinted at this by posting “X” on his Twitter account. Elon Musk is promoting his artificial intelligence company xAI, which he said “understands the universe.”
Earlier this month, Musk launched his own artificial intelligence company, xAI, with the aim of challenging OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT. He said the new AI company will operate independently of his other companies, but that xAI’s innovations could benefit those companies, such as Twitter.
