The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 series will launch in India this week, making it the first major launch of 2024 along with one other brand on the same day. The Redmi Note has been Xiaomi’s popular model in the country for years, and it hopes to continue the trend with the new Redmi Note 13 and Note 13 Pro models. The Redmi Note 13 series will be launched in India on Thursday, January 4, 2024. Xiaomi is expected to bring all the models including Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ to the country this year.

In terms of pricing, the Redmi Note 13 series could start at Rs 15,999 for the base model, Rs 19,999 for the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Rs 24,999 for the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ models.

Redmi Note 13 models have an AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The phones use a combination of Qualcomm and MediaTek Dimensity 5G chipsets with up to 12GB of RAM. It seems that Xiaomi is offering phones with Android 13 based MIUI 14 out of the box, which is disappointing. But the good news is that Xiaomi is bringing its new version of HyperOS to the Indian market, which hopefully will roll out to the new Redmi Note models as well.

Once again, the biggest difference between the three phones is in the cameras. The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is likely to have a 200-megapixel primary rear sensor as well as two more versatile sensors. The other two phones could have a 100-megapixel main camera. In addition to this, the Pro+ model could have a 5000 mAh battery that supports 120 W charging speed.
