Experience the Future at the 8th Global Technology Summit in New Delhi!
From December 4-6, the Global Technology Summit (GTS) will take place in New Delhi, marking its eighth edition. The Summit will commence with an opening speech by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar.
The Global Technology Summit (GTS) is India’s flagship geotechnology event hosted by the Department of Policy Planning and Research, Ministry of External Affairs and Carnegie India.
The theme of this year’s summit is ‘Geopolitics of Technology’, the MEA said in a press release. During the Global Technology Summit (GTS), more than 40 public sessions, keynote speeches, ministerial speeches, panel discussions, book launches and other related events are organized.
The summit will feature speakers and participants including policy makers, industry experts, researchers, technocrats and innovators from India and around the world. Ministers and senior government officials from several countries including India, USA, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Germany, Sierra Leone, Brazil and Lithuania.
During the Global Technology Summit, participants will discuss vital issues related to technology, its impact on geopolitics, and policy issues related to new, critical and emerging technologies, digital public infrastructure, export controls, data protection, and cross-cutting issues. political issues related to innovation and national security.
In a press release, the MEA stated, “GTS-2023 will convene around a hundred speakers and thousands of participants, including policymakers, industry experts, researchers, technocrats and innovators from India and across the globe. Ministers and senior officials from several countries including India, the US, Iso -Britain, Germany, Singapore, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Lithuania, Brazil and the European Union will participate in the summit.
“The summit will also be attended by students and young professionals (GTS Young Ambassadors) from India and the South Asian region,” it added.
The seventh Global Technology Summit (GTS) was held in New Delhi from November 29 to December 1. In 2022, the GTS was kept in hybrid form.
