Gmail Outage Leaves Emailers in a Jam – Don’t Get Caught in the Crossfire!
Gmail is used by billions around the world, and all of those users had to deal with an issue that delayed their ability to send or receive email this week. Google has not yet given the exact reasons for the problem, but assures that the information will be published after it has thoroughly investigated the matter. The problem has now been fixed, so your email should flow seamlessly.
People reportedly noticed that messages sent through Gmail were not delivered immediately, and many Gmail users noticed a lag issue. Google has confirmed the issue, and it appears Gmail users around the world were not affected by the issue, as reported by Downdetector.
We personally didn’t experience any problems getting emails into Gmail, so it was probably limited to certain countries. It is better to wait for Google to share the details of the issue and also highlight the countries affected by these delays. Gmail is a popular email tool for Windows, Android and even Mac users. It has a market share similar to Chrome where you also have Apple Mail, Outlook and Mozilla Thunderbird.
Google serves paid users through Workspace and free Gmail users who get benefits like 15GB of storage combined with backup quota for photos, Drive and even WhatsApp chats. The workspace plans start at 100GB, which is charged at Rs 130 per month for users in India.
