In July, Telegram introduced a feature similar to Instagram stories. Now, the platform is enhancing the stories feature to increase user engagement with friends and family. Users can now report stories on their feed and react to them with video messages. Telegram has been continuously adding new features to stories, making it more user-friendly. Telegram’s new features
According to a report from 9To5Google, Telegram has introduced new tools to the stories feature, one of which is to post stories about what their friends and channels have shared. Users can find a resend button below the message. While reposting, users are directed to stories where they can add text, emoticons, and graphics to the shared content.
Another Telegram story feature involves reacting to a reposted story with a video message. This allows users to record videos over the stories they share. To access the video reaction feature, you will be presented with a camera icon that allows you to record a small video message. The saved message is placed over the reposted story. The new Telegram feature is available when users post a story from the platform. In addition, new Telegram features are coming, such as transcribed voice messages and channel story statistics.
Now in Channels, users can react to messages with specific emojis, and channels can also customize available emojis for followers to use. Also, when a user starts following a new channel, they are also recommended a similar channel available on the platform.
All these new features will be available in a future update. For Android users, the update will be available soon on Google Play as it is still under review.
