During the 46th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Reliance Industries, Chairman Mukesh Ambani graced the stage to discuss the company’s impressive accomplishments and reveal its ambitious future endeavors.
Mukesh Ambani started by congratulating Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) scientists for the success of the Chandrayaan 3 mission. After that, Ambani revealed that an impressive 85% of working 5G cells in India are on Jio’s network. Ambani stated that the company’s 5G services are on track to cover the entire nation by December this year. He said that data consumption has increased considerably, on average more than 25 GB per user per month. Jio AirFibre
Mukesh Ambani announced that Jio’s most awaited unit JioAirFibre will debut on Ganesh Chaturthi on September 19. Jio Air Fiber promises to provide a fiber-like 5G network wirelessly. It can act as a personal Wi-Fi hotspot and provides network connectivity to every corner of the home with Jio True 5G. “Our extensive Jio Fiber service already serves more than 10 million customers, and thousands get connected every month. With Jio AirFiber, we are expanding our target market to over 200 million homes and other spaces,” said Reliance Jio Chairman Akash Ambani during the event.
Jio Smart Home Services and True5G Developer Platform
Jio Chairman Akash Ambani introduced two groundbreaking services. First, Jio Smart Home Services promises to revolutionize the way people experience and manage their homes. This service is designed to improve the comfort, safety and efficiency of modern households. Also, the Jio True5G Developer Platform was unveiled.
