ISRO’s Moon Landing Attempt Today Draws Attention
With the Chandrayaan-3 mission, initiated by ISRO on July 14, 2023, drawing nearer to its lunar touchdown, individuals from every part of the nation are anxiously awaiting its outcome.
From Parmarth Niketan in Rishikesh to Aliganj Hanuman Temple in Lucknow, special rituals, prayers and ceremonies are held to seek blessings for the success of Chandrayaan-3.
A special Ganga Aarti was performed with the tricolor in hands at the Parmarth Niketan Chat in Rishikesh Mis before the Chandrayaan-3 mission landed on August 23.
Before the Aarti, devotees performed Havan Pujan for the success of Chandrayaan 3 at the Ghat.
On this occasion, Swami Chidanand Muni, an eminent spiritual leader, conducted Havan Pujan and Aarti at Parmarth Niketan Ghat, where devotees gathered to seek divine intervention for the victory of the mission.
He said that from Vedas to science, the world recognizes our country and he fully believes that India will raise its flag at the South Pole.
Today is a very special day in terms of our country’s history and space, as from Vedas to airplanes and from Upanishads to satellites, the country’s flag will rise, he added.
The waters of the Ganga showed offerings and prayers, followed by a raucous cheer of patriotism. During this period a wonderful sight was witnessed on the banks of the Ganga. Everyone thanked PM Modi for this opportunity. Missile man former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was also remembered on the banks of the Ganga.
Likewise, devotees gathered at the Hanuman temple in Aliganj and performed aarti for Chandrayaan’s successful moon landing. A large number of devotees attend the Aarti and sincerely pray for the successful landing of Chandrayaan 3.
In Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, enthusiastic devotees chanted mantras and carried Chandrayaan posters while fervently calling for success in the mission.
Pandit Dhirshant Das, spiritual leader, said that they have been hoping from their hearts for the safe landing of Chandrayaan 3.
He emphasized that the aspirations, dedication and hard work of the country’s 140 million citizens are intertwined with the purpose of Chandrayaan-3.
The resonance of prayers and chants inevitably reaches the cosmos, uniting the spiritual and scientific dimensions. With every chant of ‘Om Som Somaye Namah’, India’s common sense of progress is intertwined with the spacecraft’s mission objectives.
Devotee Pratishan Aggarwal said that they have been praying a lot for the landing, hoping for India’s continued progress.
The national enthusiasm is a testament to the unity and aspirations of Chandrayaan-3. Remembering the lessons of the past, especially the Chandrayaan-2 setback, the nation’s prayers are directed towards a victorious landing this time.
On August 23, the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft is all set to make its historic touchdown on the lunar surface, marking a defining moment in India’s space exploration efforts.
India is the fourth country in the world to achieve this feat after the US, Russia and China, but India is the only country in the world to land on the south pole of the moon.
