Jabra Reportedly Developing Elite 8 Earbuds with Advanced Noise Cancellation
According to a reliable source, MySmartPrice, Jabra is getting ready to release updated earbuds with advanced features. The upcoming Jabra Elite 8 Active earbuds appear to be a blend of the Elite 7 Active and highly acclaimed Elite 7 Pro models. Interestingly, Jabra seems to be skipping a whole version and is said to be working on the Jabra Elite 10 earbuds, similar to Apple’s decision to skip the iPhone 9 and go for the more appealing iPhone X.
The Elite 8 Active True-Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds offer voice assistant support and adaptive hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), a more affordable and high-quality alternative to more traditional ANC methods. The headphones are said to be IP58 rated for both water and dust resistance, and the charging case offers an IP54 rating.
The earbuds feature Jabra’s patented protected in-ear ShakeGrip technology, which is basically a liquid silicone rubber outer shell that stays in place when placed in the ear. Reports indicate that these buds will also allow for quick pairing, Spotify tap play and more.
Not much is known about the Jabra Elite 10 series, although it looks like the headphones will offer ANC, quick pairing, Dolby Atmos support, voice assistant support, Spotify tap playback, and the same water and dust resistance ratings as the Elite 8 Active. headphones. They are also available in gold and beige and are available in more color options.
Some important information like the battery life is still being kept under wraps as these headphones have not been officially announced yet. It’s worth noting that the Jabra Elite 7 earbuds got about 30 hours on a single charge. There is no information yet on the price or availability of either product. We will keep you informed.
