How To Make Group Calls On WhatsApp With Up To 31 People Using An iPhone
Good news for iPhone users, popular instant messaging app WhatsApp owned by Meta is widely rolling out a feature that allows group calls with up to 31 participants. It allows WhatsApp iOS users to quickly connect with a larger number of participants with just a few taps.
“WhatsApp has recently released the 23.21.72 update for iOS on the App Store. We noticed that WhatsApp is widely rolling out improved calls to everyone,” WABetaInfo reported.
The Meta-owned app unlocks the ability to pick up to 31 people before making a group call. In previous updates, group calls already supported 32 participants, but users were initially limited to selecting only 15 contacts when starting such calls.
Here’s how you can start group calls on WhatsApp with up to 31 participants
– Open WhatsApp and then tap on CALLS tab.
– Tap New call > New group call.
– Find the contact you want to add to the call, then tap Voice Call.
With the latest updates, users can finally start group calls by experimenting with the full capacity of 32 participants from the start, simplifying and improving the calling experience.
The feature to start group calls with up to 31 participants is available for iOS users who install the latest WhatsApp update from the App Store. If you don’t have this feature, please note that it may be enabled for certain accounts in the coming weeks.
To make sure you stay up-to-date and access this feature, be sure to keep your WhatsApp app up-to-date via the App Store and the TestFlight app.
At the same time, WhatsApp is also developing a new feature that will respond to support inquiries with messages generated by artificial intelligence (AI).
It can help users by sending AI-generated messages using Meta’s secure service. This feature is expected to improve user interaction, minimize response times and ensure a more efficient support experience, benefiting both WhatsApp users and customer service.
