Netflix plans to release 40 more games this year: everything you need to know
Popular streaming service Netflix announced on Tuesday that it will bring 40 more games later this year, with 70 more in development with its partners. The company also has 16 games currently being developed by its own game studios. Netflix released the games in November 2021, and since then 55 games have been released.
“It’s been just over a year since we launched games on Netflix to offer our members even more entertainment as part of their Netflix subscription. In that short time, we’ve released 55 games, with around 40 slated for release later this year and 70 in development with our partners,” the streaming giant wrote in a blog post.
Netflix also said members will find indie darlings, award-winning hits, role-playing games, narrative adventures, puzzle games and more. In January of this year, the beginning released “Valiant Hearts: Coming Home,” the first of three Ubisoft exclusive games on Netflix.
Now Ubisoft’s new game will be released on the 18th. April – Mighty Quest: Rogue Palace. “Next year ustwo’s brilliant and beautiful Monument Valley franchise is coming to Netflix, starting with Monument Valley 1 and Monument Valley 2, with more to come,” it added.
The company also mentioned that it is working with game developer Super Evil Megacorp (Vainglory, Catalyst Black) on an exclusive game based on the upcoming Netflix release. During this month, the company introduced two new games: “Highwater”, which is available now; and “Terra Nil,” which launches on March 28.

At the same time, Netflix is rolling out a new feature to its TV users worldwide that will allow them to customize the size and style of subtitles.
The new update allows users to choose from three sizes (small, medium, and large) and four styles/colors (default white text option, shadow, light, and contrast.
