Nothing Phone 1 to Receive Nothing OS 2.0 Update Next Week
Nothing is bringing its new Nothing OS 2.0 version to Phone 1 users next week. We don’t know the exact date when the update will be released, but it’s exciting news for Phone 1 users who have been waiting for the new version of Nothing OS, which includes numerous improvements and features that made it out of the update. box with Nothing Phone 2.
The Phone 1 update should also bring the popular monochrome app icons, allowing you to change the color settings for all apps on Phone 2 by changing the default icon tray in Settings.

The Android 13-based Nothing OS 2.0 version gets a new screen lock and home screen widgets for weather, flashlight and more. The brand will start seeding the new update to Phone 1 users next week, and we expect that all Phone 1 users should receive the update within the next 10 days or so. Nothing has significantly increased the size of its software team, which seems to help with improved product focus and a relatively quick rollout of OS 2.0 to first-generation Nothing Phone owners.
The Phone 1 is the first device from the brand that launched last year, and it doesn’t get any smoother with the new Nothing OS 2.0 version. The phone was launched back then for around Rs 33,000 and now people can pick it up for around Rs 30,000. Fast forward to 2023 and you now have the Nothing Phone 2 in the market with a much higher base price of Rs 44,999.
The company’s focus on transparent design has caught everyone’s attention, starting with the Nothing Ear 1. With the Phone 2, the company is eyeing a premium model, and once launched in the US, it claims to compete with giants like Apple.
