OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT, is aiming to stay ahead in the AI industry as Google introduces its new AI model Gemini. OpenAI has recently announced its own text-to-video model called Sora, following its success with ChatGPT and entry into AI image generation with DALL-E. CEO Sam Altman is expanding OpenAI’s presence in the AI video generation market with Sora, a tool that allows users to unleash their creativity by generating one-minute videos based on a text prompt. What is OpenAI Sora?
Sora is a new AI model that means “sky” in Japanese. The tool is capable of creating realistic videos with descriptive text prompts. The AI-generation video tool is said to create videos of up to 60 seconds in length, allowing users to bring their imaginations to reality with a single prompt. OpenAI said: “Sora can create videos up to a minute long while maintaining visual quality and following user prompts.” Sora’s website has several examples of videos created by Sora. One of the prompts included “Photorealistic close-up video of two pirate ships fighting each other while sailing inside a coffee cup.” And Sora created an enchanting image of ships.

Open AI claims that Sora can create “multiple characters, specific types of movements, and precise details of the subject and background.” It is designed to understand the difference between what the user has provided and what is in the real world.
Characteristics and safety measures of gravel
Sora will be available to red teams and visual artists, designers and filmmakers to assess risks and provide feedback on how to improve or advance the AI model. Additionally, OpenAI highlighted that “the current model has weaknesses,” so it may struggle to generate a few prompts.
The company is also developing security measures before Sora is available for other OpenAI products. The company works closely with experts to create strict guidelines for misinformation, hateful content and biased content . In addition, OpenAI also develops tools for identifying misleading content.
