Infinix has expanded its range of budget 4G Dual SIM smartphones by introducing the Infinix Hot 40i today. The company says it has a host of premium features, including a 32-megapixel front-facing selfie camera and a Magic Ring feature reminiscent of the iPhone’s Dynamic Island, 256GB of storage, and 8GB of RAM.

Infinix Hot 40i – Specifications and Features

The Infinix Hot 40i runs on an octa-core UniSoc T606 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage expandable up to 2TB via MicroSD. The brand claims that users can expand the RAM up to 16GB using the virtual RAM feature.

In terms of display and build, the device has a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it offers IP53 splash protection to protect users from the elements.

On the photography front, the device has a 50-megapixel primary camera capable of capturing images in 50-megapixel mode. It also includes a secondary depth sensor and a quad-LED flash. For selfies, there is a 32-megapixel front-facing camera capable of recording 1080P 30 FPS videos.

The Infinix Hot 40i packs a 5,000mAh battery, and our first impressions say it can last up to two days with reasonable standby time. Comes with an 18 W charger for charging.

Biometric authentication is facilitated by the side-mounted fingerprint sensor, or you can rely on the face unlock feature that makes the Magic Ring work.

Infinix Hot 40i Price and Offers in India

The Infinix Hot 40i is available on Flipkart and the first sale will start on February 21. The device is priced at Rs 9,999, but along with the offers, buyers can get a discount of Rs 1,000, bringing the Net price down to Rs 8,999.

The device is available for purchase in four color options: Palm Blue, Starfall Green, Horizon Gold and Starlit Black.
