‘Persona 3 Reloaded’ to Bring PS2 Classic to Modern Platforms in Early 2024
Despite a potential spoiler leak, Atlus made a major announcement during Microsoft’s Xbox and Starfield showcase on Saturday. The publisher revealed plans to remake the popular 2006 game Persona 3 for modern platforms, under the title Persona 3 Reload. The remake will feature updated graphics using Epic’s Unreal Engine and incorporate gameplay improvements from 2016’s Persona 5. It remains unclear whether the remake will include content from the expanded rerelease Persona 3 FES or the PlayStation Portable port Persona 3 Portable, which introduced a beloved new female protagonist.
Alongside Persona 3 Reload, Atlus announced Persona 5 Tactica. As the name suggests, it’s a strategy role-playing game starring the cast of Persona 5. Persona 5 Tactica arrives on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on November 17th, the first day on Game Pass.
