Possible Good News: Leaked Design of Nothing Phone 2a May Be Inaccurate
The Nothing Phone 2a will be released sometime this month, but we still don’t know the exact details. However, the Internet recently spotted a rumored leak of the Phone 2a, which surprisingly did not feature the signature Nothing Glyph light.
Most people were surprised to see that the brand ditched its flagship which is supposed to dominate the price of the device. The leaked render features the back panel of the Phone 2a, revealing a radical redesign – ditching the Glyph Lightning interface that both the Nothing Phone 1 and Phone 2 are known for.
But our suspicions have been proven correct as the leaked design of the Phone 2a was not the real thing and the actual model will feature Glyph lights in some shape and form. A new leak of the Nothing Phone 2a hints at the continued presence of LEDs on the back of the phone and adds customization features to its Nothing OS platform.
Nothing is mostly focused on premium devices, but the “a” moniker variant suggests that the brand is ready to be aggressive. The brand will likely make some cuts, which is understandable, but it looks like the Glyph lights aren’t going anywhere.
The Phone 2a is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chip and feature an OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The new Nothing Phone could feature a dual-camera setup with a 50-megapixel Samsung S5KGN9 sensor that comes in at 1/1.5-inch and 1.0-micron pixel size. The secondary ultra-wide-angle lens, on the other hand, can be a 50-megapixel Samsung S5KJN1 ultra-wide-angle unit. The brand should offer a large battery that should support 45W charging speed, if not more.
