Garena Free Fire, which was banned in India last year due to security reasons, is coming back to the country tomorrow – after almost a year and a half with a new name – Free Fire India. This time, the game introduces localized content and characters and doubles down on esports to reach a wider user base and strengthen its credibility.

Free Fire India is currently available for pre-registration on Android and can be downloaded ahead of its launch tomorrow – September 5th. Users can register for the game in the Google Play Store from this link. You also have the option to enable automatic installation, which allows the Play Store to automatically download the game when it becomes available.
For the uninitiated, Garena has partnered with Yotta to provide cloud services in India. Yotta is a company under the Hiranandani Group and this collaboration will enable Garena to comply with Indian rules and restart the game.
