“WhatsApp has released the 23.24.73 update for iOS on the App Store. Thanks to the official changelog provided by WhatsApp, we noticed that this feature is finally available to everyone with the latest update. This improvement will finally allow users to quickly share photos and videos in their original quality without your need to complete several steps,” WABetainfo said.
The official changelog revealed that WhatsApp is rolling out a feature to start a voice chat without calling everyone in large groups. Additionally, WhatsApp is now rolling out new chat bubbles to help users see missed, ongoing, and ended calls, as well as the ability to react to status updates using your avatar.
However, the Meta-owned app also introduces a feature that easily sends original quality photos and videos as documents for sharing without compression or quality loss. To get started, open the chat sharing page, tap “Document” and “Choose a photo or video.”
If you’re missing some features, keep an eye out as certain accounts might get them in the next few weeks, as mentioned in the official changelog. Stay updated by constantly updating your WhatsApp from the App Store and the TestFlight app. That way, you’ll be sure to get these features in the future if you don’t have them after installing the latest update.
In related news, Meta is also working on integrating its two popular social media platforms, WhatsApp and Instagram. This means users will soon be able to share their WhatsApp status updates directly to their Instagram stories.
