Netflix has decided to split The Witcher season 3 into two parts. Volume 1, consisting of the first five episodes, will be released on the 29th. June 2023. After that, Volume 2, containing episodes 6-8, will be available on July 27 of the same year. This season in particular brings a change in the cast of Geralt, as Henry Cavill passes the torch to Liam Hemsworth, known for his role in the Hunger Games series.
The Witcher Season 3 includes familiar characters such as Geralt (Henry Cavill), Ciri (Freya Allan), Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) and Jaskier (Joey Batey). Although it’s officially Cavill’s last season as Geralt, Liam Hemsworth will take over the role in season four. Despite Cavill’s departure from Superman, he will not be reprising his role as Geralt.
