Threads Introduces Timeline Feature Amid Twitter Struggles
Meta has recently introduced a new feature on Threads that allows users to view a chronological feed of posts from the accounts they follow. This addition has been deemed crucial for Threads to effectively compete with Twitter, which has long been a reliable platform for real-time information. Meanwhile, as Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter (referred to as X), continues to dismantle the app, Threads is emerging as a more promising option for receiving timely news and updates. To access the chronological feed, users will need to update to the latest version of Threads. However, since the rollout is happening gradually, it may not be immediately available to everyone.
Mark Zuckerberg announced the introduction of a chronological feed on his Instagram broadcast channel (Instagram head Adam Mosseri said some time ago that such an option was coming). Meta’s CEO added that Threads has gained another important feature in the form of translations. Zuckerberg said more is coming, hopefully including the ability to post to threads online, direct messages, improved accessibility, better search, and a TweetDeck-like way to track Threads posts.
