Truecaller Assistant to Automatically Block Spam Calls
If you find it frustrating to receive robocalls or spam calls, especially when you think they might be important, you’re not alone. These calls always seem to come at inconvenient moments, like during meetings or when you’re busy with important work. What makes it even more aggravating is that these spam calls often disguise themselves with legitimate-looking phone numbers, making it difficult to identify them before answering. However, if you’re tired of dealing with these annoying calls, the Truecaller assistant can serve as a protective barrier against spam calls.
The Truecaller assistant handles incoming calls for you and filters unwanted spam at the same time. It uses advanced speech-to-text technology to identify the caller and determine the reason for the call. In real time, the information appears on your screen so you can decide whether you need to answer the call or not. Interestingly, it comes in multiple languages including English, Hindi and other regional languages.
Truecaller Assistant has several features, including five different voices, speech-to-text technology to transcribe a caller’s message into text, and a customizable call greeting that Assistant sends when answering a call from an unknown number.
Truecaller Assistant: How does it work?
Once you have downloaded and activated the Truecaller Assistant app, the assistant will handle your calls only from that moment on. When you get a call, all you have to do is tap “Assistant” to start the screening process. Don’t worry if you miss it! If you didn’t, Assistant will step in and answer the call after a few rings.
Once a call is routed to Assistant, it greets the caller and uses advanced text-to-speech technology to identify the caller’s identity and the reason for the call. Real-time information is displayed on your screen, allowing you to make an informed decision about whether or not to answer the call. It’s like having your own personal answering machine.
