Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino Predicts ‘X’ Will Revolutionize Interactivity; Company Rebranding Incoming
Following Elon Musk’s confirmation that Twitter will undergo a rebranding as ‘X’ and replace its well-known blue bird logo with the ‘X’ logo, Linda Yaccarino, the CEO of the micro-blogging app, revealed that ‘X’ represents a future state of boundless interactivity. This new direction will focus on audio, video, messaging, payments/banking, and establish a worldwide platform for exchanging ideas, products, services, and opportunities.
“AI-powered X will connect us all in ways we’ve only begun to imagine,” he wrote on Twitter. “For years, fans and critics alike have pushed Twitter to dream bigger, innovate faster, and realize our great potential. X does that and more. We’ve already started to see X take shape over the past eight months with rapid feature releases,” but we’re only on Twitter.

Billionaire Musk said in a message on Sunday that he wants to change Twitter’s logo and asked his millions of followers if they would support changing the site’s color scheme from blue to black. He posted a photo of a stylized X against a black outer space themed background.
“And soon we will say goodbye to the Twitter brand and gradually to all the birds,” he said.
