Vivo Unveils Y200 Smartphone in India With 64MP OIS Camera: Price and Specs

Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has launched a new Y-series affordable mobile phone Vivo Y200 in India. The recently launched Vivo Y200 has some decent features like a 120Hz Ultra Vision AMOLED display, a 64MP OIS camera with Smart Aura Light and a large 4800mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.

The Vivo Y200 price in India starts at Rs 21,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and is available in Desert Gold and Jungle Green color options. According to the company, you can also get cashbacks of up to Rs 2,500 using SBI, IndusIndia, IDFC First, Yes Bank and other financial partners. The device is available for purchase from Amazon, Flipkart, vivo India’s online store and all partners.

Vivo Y200 Specifications

Vivo’s new Y-series smartphone has a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen and 120 Hz Ultra Vision refresh rate. In addition, the device is HDR10+ certified. With an ultra-thin body of 7.69 mm and a weight of 190 grams, the vivo Y200 is comfortable to use.

The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 8GB of expandable RAM. Vivo Y200 runs on the latest FunTouch OS 13 operating system, which is based on the Android 13 platform. In terms of battery, the device offers a large 4,800mAh battery along with 44W lightning charging and 24-dimensional protection.

For cameras, the Vivo Y200 has two rear cameras: a 64-megapixel primary sensor that supports optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. For video calls and selfies, the device has a 16 megapixel front camera. In addition to this, the camera offers a wide range of portrait styles and modes. These include Bokeh Flare Portrait, Multi-Style Portrait, Wedding Style Portrait and many more.

“In line with the government’s Make in India vision, the Vivo Y200 will be manufactured at the company’s Greater Noida facility,” the company said.
