Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G spotted on Geekbench ahead of launch
Xiaomi is expected to launch the Redmi Note 9 series in China next week. These Redmi Note 9 smartphones are expected to ship with 5G due to the multiple leaks and rumors we have seen recently. One of the expected phones, Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, has now been spotted on benchmarking website Geekbench.
A Xiaomi smartphone with model number M2007J17C believed to be the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G has been spotted on Geekbench, revealing some of its key specifications. The Geekbench listing reveals that the smartphone will come with Android 10 and 8 GB of RAM. The smartphone is also listed with a Qualcomm processor which is expected to be the Snapdragon 750G. On Geekbench, this smartphone has a single-core score of 645 and a multicore score of 1963.
Rumors have it that Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G also comes with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The smartphone will most likely house a 108-megapixel rear camera and a 16-megapixel front camera.
Xiaomi is expected to launch three Redmi Note 9 smartphones at the event. One of them could be the Redmi Note 9 5G, which would come with a 6.53-inch Full HD + display and MediaTek’s Dimensity 800U chipset. It will be available in three storage options of 4GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. Redmi Note 9 5G is also said to contain a 5000mAh battery, a 48-megapixel main camera and a 13 megapixel selfie camera.
The color options for both phones are tilted to be black, red, blue, pink, white, green, purple, and silver.
The third phone in the series will most likely be equipped with 4G. Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 9 series earlier this year in March. The new Redmi Note 9 series is expected to come with improved specs and 5G.
