YouTube update
According to the YouTube blog, the app has introduced new features that give viewers more power to watch their content. Below are some features:
1. YouTube Volume Control: The app now includes “Stable Volume” which is an automatic feature that helps maintain a steady volume for a better viewing and listening experience.
2. The New You tab: YouTube has combined the Library tab and your account page, where users can see your watch history, playlists, downloads and purchases, all your account information, and your channel information.
3. Search for songs by humming: Now YouTube users can find a song by playing, singing or humming when they can’t remember the name of the song. This feature uses artificial intelligence to match the audio to the original recording. It will be available in a few weeks only for Android users.
4. YouTube Lock Screen: Now accidental taps are a thing of the past, as YouTube integrates the lock screen into mobile and tablet devices so that users can avoid interruptions while watching content.
Please note that these features will gradually become available via updates over the next few weeks.
YouTube also said that the changes have been made based on feedback from the creator and viewers.
YouTube has yet to announce the new features, and they will also be rolled out globally in due course.
