Samsung Unveils Odyssey Neo G9 Monitor Featuring 57-inch Curved Display: Price & Details
Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 Display: South Korean tech giant Samsung on Thursday unveiled a new gaming-focused “Odyssey Neo G9 Display” with a 57-inch curved screen and quantum matrix technology to improve image quality.

The new Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 screen is priced at Rs 2,25,000 in India. This Samsung gaming-focused screen is white. Customers can purchase it from Samsung’s official online store, Samsung Shop, Amazon and all leading retail stores.
The company has also announced that the Odyssey Neo G9 will be available on no-cost EMI with a cart discount of Rs 10,000 when purchased from Samsung’s online store between 24-31. August and Rs.3,500 on credit and debit cards from leading banks.
Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 Display: Specifications
The Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 has a UHD resolution display (7680 x 2160) stretched with a 32:9 aspect ratio. It has a 1000R curved design and features Samsung’s quantum mini LED technology that supports the VESA Display HDR 1000 specification. It also has DisplayPort 2.1 support, which transfers data about twice as fast as the previously used DisplayPort 1.4.
In addition, the new DisplayPort 2.1 enables the lossless industry standard Display Stream Compression (DSC) technology, which transfers data without distortion. The Odyssey Neo G9 also supports a refresh rate of 240 Hz. The display is slim and has something called Core Lighting+. The back of the screen looks like scenes from the games and changes colors depending on the content on the screen.
The monitor comes with an ergonomic stand that allows users to adjust the height or tilt of the monitor. The screen supports picture-by-picture and picture-in-picture functions to get the most out of its large screen.
The display features Auto Source Switch+, which automatically detects connected devices and immediately switches to the active source, eliminating manual source switching each time.
