Long videos have changed the platform. Previously, the platform supported a video length of 140 seconds or 2 minutes 20 seconds. But now, if you are an X Premium subscriber, you can download up to 2 hours of 1080p videos or up to 3 hours of 720p videos.

There is also a new media studio for premium users, which allows them to edit videos quickly and without much effort. In addition, premium users can also download videos and save them to their camera roll. However, only those videos whose owner has not disabled downloading can be downloaded.

Popular videos also have automatic subtitles for those who either like them or are hearing impaired. With AirPlay support, users can now stream any Twitter video directly to their TVs. In addition, the PiP (picture in picture) feature allows users to stop scrolling while watching a video.

Other video enhancements include adding controls such as playback speed, double tap to fast forward/rewind, improved live streaming quality from mobile device, an immersive video player on Android and iOS that works by swiping up a video to see the next one. and expanded support for Spaces.

Looking at the features that may be added soon, Yaccarino confirmed that a video calling feature will be added to the platform soon. Even Musk tested the platform’s enhanced streaming features, which may also be coming soon.
