Vivo unveiled its new V-series smartphones in India on Monday, and the company is once again hoping to get buyers to see stylish devices. The Vivo V29e isn’t quite a flagship, but it still has a slim curved 3D display and a stylish glass body panel on the back. It has an OIS-supported main camera on the back and a fast-charging battery.
Vivo V29e price in India
The Vivo V29e is priced at Rs 26,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB model, and if you want the 8GB + 256GB variant, the price is Rs 28,999. The phone will be available early next month and will be available in two color options.
Vivo V29e Specifications
As we mentioned, the phone sports a 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED display that offers FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone measures a rather sleek 7.5mm and weighs just 180 grams, making it easy to use.
Vivo uses a Snapdragon 695G chipset with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The phone gets expandable virtual RAM technology if you need more memory. Vivo’s V series is focused on selfies, and this model has a 50-megapixel shooter on the front, while the rear has a 64-megapixel primary OIS camera along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor.
The company is running Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13 in India. The AMOLED panel means you get an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Even with these dimensions, the phone has a 5000mAh battery that supports 44W charging with the included charger.
While Vivo has launched this mid-range phone, the company is setting the stage for its next X-series flagship phone, which is rumored to be the X100 series this year, and will introduce new Zeiss Optics lenses. The brand should have three models, as in previous X series releases.
