iPhone Users: Get Ready for the Biggest iOS Update in Years with AI-Powered Features!
Apple works to fix issues with existing versions of iOS, but the company also has a keen eye to make sure the next update is seamless. Apple has apparently had to suspend work on the iOS 18 version until next year to take care of all the bugs and inconsistencies with the iOS 17 version.
However, this does not mean that Apple has completely lost focus on the upcoming version, in fact new reports say otherwise. Apple is betting that the next version of iOS 18 will be its most ambitious update in years for iPhone users. A Bloomberg report suggests that Apple will make major changes to iOS 18, not only in terms of interface design, but also to improve performance.
We don’t yet know what big changes we might see in iOS 18, but it’s likely that Apple will pick up the AI tab next year and give iPhone users a taste of ChatGPT-like technology for consumers. Apple is probably one of the few tech companies that showcases their work in AI and it is imperative that the company enters the arena and grabs everyone’s attention.
We still have a little time, as the WWDC 2024 conference will not be held until May or June next year. So it’s possible that Apple will start making big plans and show its interest in AI and how it plans to use the technology without compromising the privacy of its users.
Meanwhile, Apple has invested heavily in growing its M-series chips for Macs and iPads, for which we recently saw the release of M3-series silicon alongside the new MacBook Pro models for buyers. It will be interesting to see how Apple trains its AI model without access to user data and as we have seen with Siri over the years.
