Sticker Sharing Now Available on WhatsApp Channels – Get Creative!

Meta-owned instant messaging app WhatsApp is developing several new features for channels. After a recent report hinted that WhatsApp plans to add a username feature for channel users, a new leak has revealed that the Meta-owned app is rolling out a new feature to share stickers on WhatsApp channels.

“After installing the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.24.19 update available from the Google Play Store, we noticed that the feature to send stickers on channels is finally available to some beta testers. With this feature, WhatsApp aims to significantly increase the diversity of channel content to enrich communication and engage users more dynamically,” WABetaInfo reported.

A screenshot shared by WABetaInfo revealed that it is now possible to send stickers in channels. To find out if this feature is available on your WhatsApp account, please update the app to the update available on the Google Play Store and open the keyboard on your channel. The Sticker tab appears next to the emoji keyboard.

The report suggested that posting stickers on channels would allow channel owners to express their thoughts more vividly than traditional text. Stickers bring a new dimension to communication and diversify channel content by attracting and maintaining user engagement through reactions.

The feature to share stickers in channels is available to some beta testers who install the latest WhatsApp beta updates for Android from the Google Play Store, and will roll out to more people in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, WhatsApp has also started releasing the secret code for locked chats to beta testers. This feature, which was revealed to be in the works last month, works by allowing users to hide their sensitive conversations from your chat list and can only be opened with a code.
