‘Vampire Survivors’ to Feature Four-Player Couch Co-op
Poncle’s popular game, Vampire Survivors, is set to arrive on the Nintendo Switch, providing players with the option to play on-the-go or on their TV. The game will be available on August 17th, with the base game priced at $5 and each expansion costing $2.
Best of all, couch co-op is coming to all platforms, meaning you can kill thousands of enemies with the help of up to three friends. This new mode will also be available on August 17th. While there won’t be official support for online co-op, Poncle noted in the FAQ that you can use workarounds like Steam Remote Play Together.
Vampire Survivors debuted on Steam in late 2021, and later came to Xbox and mobile. For the uninitiated, the game asks you to choose a character with a unique starting weapon and perk. The gun fires automatically. The only agency you have during your runs is your movement and choosing an upgrade or new weapon or perk when you level up.
Runs last up to 30 minutes – or longer if you can figure out how to survive death. This makes Vampire Survivors a great game to play on the commute (or anytime, if we’re being honest).
