Bumble Introduces ‘Compliments’ Feature to Allow Messaging Before Matching
Bumble, the women-first dating and social networking app, has recently introduced a feature called ‘Compliments’. This innovative feature allows members to send a message before connecting, enabling them to make a memorable impression and enhance user comfort.
With this feature, Bumble’s community can enhance the first conversation or get the first conversation off to a positive start. Members who use comments are statistically more likely to match and are more likely to have a good conversation.
According to a new Bumble survey, about 85% of Indians surveyed say that receiving a compliment from someone, possibly a romantic partner, makes them more interested.
Samarpita Samaddar, Head of Communications, India, Bumble, said of the newly launched feature, “At Bumble, we believe in the power of positivity and kindness, and that when politeness is the basis of conversation, you create a platform for the connection to begin in the best possible way.”
So how do you use compliments? Samaddar said, “Using Compliments on Bumble can be as easy as sending a friendly message when you come across someone’s profile with whom you share common interests, like your taste in music or your favorite movies!”
Anyone on Bumble can send two greeting messages per week in a person’s profile prompts, bio, or photos. Although compliments can be seen and received in two ways, that is, through someone’s Beeline or the main page of his encounters. Those with countless praises can receive notifications when the app is opened.
Compliments joins Recommend to a Friend and Speed Dating as part of new features that allow Bumble members to start a conversation in a genuinely positive way.
