Amazon Launched Echo Pop Smart Speaker powered by Alexa in India
Amazon continues to update its range of Echo smart speakers in India, with the latest being the Echo Pop, which was announced at a global event earlier this year. Echo Pop will remind you of desk clocks, except this clock has a grille with built-in speakers and a microphone so Alexa can hear your voice commands. Amazon introduces a new speaker with a new processor that promises faster responses.
Amazon echo pop price in India
The Amazon Echo Pop has been launched in India at a price of Rs 4,999, making it one of the cheapest Echo speakers in the market. You can buy it from online and offline stores across the country.
Amazon Echo Pop features
The Amazon Echo Pop has a hemispherical design that sits flat against a surface like a desk clock. It has front speakers that can play your favorite music or podcast with a quick voice command to Alexa. The speaker can also pair with your phone via Bluetooth to listen to your local files or any music app you’ve paid for.
But the Echo Pop doesn’t just support music and basic voice commands, you can also set up and control home devices using the speaker’s Alexa. Amazon claims that smart devices from brands like Wipro, Syska and Xiaomi are compatible with this feature.
Amazon also says that with the new AZ2 Neural Edge processor, the Echo Pop will give you faster responses than Alexa. The smart speaker is available in several bright colors reminiscent of Google’s Nest Home Mini speakers.
Like other Echo speakers, the Pop also has physical buttons to increase the volume or mute the microphone so that Alexa doesn’t listen to all your conversations. You can connect the speaker with the Alexa app on your iOS or Android phone to add new functions that Alexa understands.
