Apple Stores to Launch Home Delivery for Purchases
Apple is currently making arrangements to provide home delivery services from its retail stores, allowing customers to conveniently make purchases. This initiative aims to benefit both customers and Apple employees by freeing up storage space that would otherwise be occupied by a large quantity of devices.
According to Mark Gurman’s Power newsletter. Apple may soon introduce its retail employees the option to offer customers a home delivery option when purchasing a product. This allows customers to get the product safely to their home without having to worry about running out of the device in retail stores.
More about the home delivery option
According to Gurman, Apple’s new EasyPay Online Ordering program will be introduced in stores in August, which could mean a revolutionary strategic change for home delivery services.
With EasyPay machines, Apple retail salespeople can sell products directly to customers through EasyPay, and the product is delivered to their homes.
This benefits Apple stores and customers in a variety of ways, one of which is that stores can take pre-sales for end products and customers don’t have to go empty-handed or search different retail stores for availability. Plus, shoppers can pay for them at the store and have them delivered to their home instead of carrying around bulky items like an iMac or Mac Pro.
Gurman directly refers to this new move in connection with the upcoming sale of Vision Pro. It can be a possible strategy for Apple to get more profit. This is because the headband consists of several different parts, such as light seals, prescription lens inserts, and more, which can be challenging for shoppers to hold and maintain all the necessary products at Apple retail stores. A business could experience a loss of $3,500 or more in lost revenue if any of these components are out of stock at a retail store. Now, with the EasyPay online ordering platform, store staff can notify users that the missing part will be delivered directly to their location.
