ASUS ROG Phone 8 release date
ASUS announced on X (formerly Twitter) that the ROG Phone 8 series will debut at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024 on January 8.
It was also revealed that the ASUS ROG Phone 8 series will be released in China on January 16, 2024, which means that the launch is just over a month away at this point. The launch event is expected to start around 7:30 PM in China, but for those in India, the time would be 5:00 PM IST.
Notably, this is not the India release date. But considering that the brand has brought previous ROG series phones to the Indian market, it wouldn’t be wrong to assume that the ROG Phone 8 series will be launched in India as well.
ASUS ROG Phone 8: What to expect
All ROG phones are expected to feature Qualcomm’s latest and greatest chipset – the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Coupled with this, ASUS can offer up to a whopping 24GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage based on leaked benchmarks. There are also rumors that it can support up to 65W fast charging.
In addition, the devices could be available with Android 14 out of the box and have a redesigned camera module.
