Dead by Daylight to Feature Xenomorph from Alien as Next Killer
Behaviour Interactive is set to introduce another iconic horror franchise to Dead by Daylight. Shortly after the inclusion of Nicolas Cage as a playable character, the publisher has unveiled a teaser video hinting at an upcoming crossover with the Alien series.
The clip features several shots of what appears to be the spaceship Nostromo from the original film, as the Alien logo is gradually revealed. This suggests that the chapter has a new map on board. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the iconic Xenomorph is also featured. Given the terrifying creature’s troubled history with humans and the fact that it lunges towards the camera here, the smart money is on the Xenomorph being the newest killer in the game.
According to the DbD roadmap, Behavior plans to release a new chapter this month, suggesting that the Alien DLC is just a few weeks away. The roadmap also indicates that the figure includes a survivor. What are the odds that the person turns out to be Ripley? Either way, we won’t have to wait long to find out as more details about the Alien chapter will be revealed on August 8th.
Dead by Daylight has many of the original survivors, killers, and maps, but the mash-ups of major horror franchises help bring more focus to the game. Over the years, Behavior has collaborated with, among others, The Ring, Resident Evil, Silent Hill and Stranger Things.
