Meanwhile, Twitter also places daily limits on how many direct messages unverified accounts can send. According to the platform, the changes will take effect on Friday and will affect users who do not have a verified badge or a Twitter Blue subscription.
The company did not reveal the exact DM limit, but suggested that users who want to send unlimited DMs must sign up for Twitter Blue, which costs Rs 900 per month in India and offers various features and benefits.
In addition, Elon Musk recently asked Twitter users to verify subscribers and said that they can earn thousands of dollars per month from sharing advertising revenue.
Without explaining how they can do this without registering 5 million impressions per month with more than 10,000 followers – two key conditions for making money through ad revenue sharing on Twitter – he asked them to sign up for a paid subscription to Twitter Blue.
