Jio Launches Jio AirFiber Broadband Service
On Tuesday, Jio launched the JioFiber internet service, which offers an end-to-end solution for home entertainment and smart home service through a high-speed broadband network. The service will be launched in eight metro cities like Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune. Jio AirFiber has been launched to provide last mile connectivity and connect millions of households in India with Jio’s fast broadband service.
“With JioAirFiber, we are expanding our addressable market to quickly cover all homes in our country that have a similar service. JioAirFiber enables millions of homes with world-class digital entertainment, smart home services and broadband through education, healthcare, monitoring and smart home solutions,” said Akash Ambani, Chairman, Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited.
Jio AirFiber offers a range of services which include:
– Digital entertainment via over 550 digital TV channels, access to over 16 popular OTT streaming apps on demand
– Fast broadband Wi-Fi service that covers all corners of your house
– Smart home solutions, such as home network, home security, cloud computing for training and remote working,
healthcare and games, e.g.
Jio provides consumers with a Wi-Fi router, 4K set-top box and a voice-activated remote control as part of the Jio AirFiber package.

Jio AirFiber and Fiber Max plans
As you can see here, if you choose the basic package, you only get 550+ digital TV channels and 14 OTT app subscriptions. But if you pay more than Rs 1,000, you also get access to platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime and Jio Cinema Premium.
Note: Jio AirFiber Max is only available in select regions. All plans are also available in 6 and 12 month options.
How to get Jio AirFiber service to your home
– You need to make a missed call or send a WhatsApp message to 60008-6008 to start the Jio AirFiber booking process
– Register for Jio AirFiber service by paying Rs 100 reservation amount (adjusted in your bill)
– Jio will contact you and offer Jio AirFiber if your building is ready to support the service.
