Lava Blaze 5G gets a new more powerful 6GB RAM version: everything you need to know
The Indian market has lacked powerful, budget-friendly 5G devices, with only a limited number of OEMs offering options under Rs 15,000. However, homegrown brand Lava has stepped up to fill this gap by launching the new and improved Lava Blaze 5G 6GB + 128GB variant at an introductory price of Rs 11,499.
The introductory price of Rs 11,499 is valid only on the launch date of February 15. Starting February 16, the price will be hiked by Rs 500 to Rs 11,999. The Blaze 5G is available for purchase on e-commerce platforms such as Lava E-store and Amazon.in.The Lava Blaze 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700, an octa-core SoC clocked at 2.2GHz. and has 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Lava claims it has an additional 3GB of virtual RAM.
For optics, the Lava Blaze 5G gets a triple rear camera, including a primary 50-megapixel shooter and two additional sensors. For taking selfies, the device also has an 8-megapixel front camera.
As a budget device, using a large screen becomes a must and here the Lava Blaze 5G gets a 6.5 inch HD+ IPS display with 90Hz refresh rate and Widevine L1 support. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and supports up to 1TB of expandable storage. The device is powered by a 5000 mAh battery.
Additionally, the device is available in two different finishes – Glass Green and Glass Blue, and comes with Android 12.
