Poco C55 with HD+ Display and MediaTek Helio SoC Launched in India: Price, Specifications
Poco has launched a new budget smartphone in India this week. The Poco C55 aims to keep budget buyers engaged as most launches in the country now focus on 5G networks. The latest C-series phone is powered by a MediaTek chipset and seems to set itself apart with a unique design that is hard to find in this range. You also have a high-capacity battery to keep your phone ticking.
Poco C55 Smartphone Price in India
The Poco C55 has been launched in India in two variants, starting at Rs 9,499 for the 4GB + 64GB variant and going up to Rs 10,999 for the 6GB model. Poco will start selling the phone in the country next week.

The Poco C55 seems to fulfill the needs of the budget smartphone user by giving them a large 6.71-inch HD+ display that gets Panda glass protection. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage expandable up to 1TB. Poco offers Android 12-based MIUI 13 for this device, but we hope the Android 13 version will come eventually.
The Poco C55 has a dual rear camera system with a 50-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There is a 5 megapixel camera on the front of the phone. The phone has a 5000mAh battery which gives you the standard 10W charging speed via the microUSB port, which is no longer standard. The device gets an IP52 splash-proof rating, weighs 192 grams and has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Since the budget market has been starved for options in the last quarter, people are definitely looking at the Poco C55 because of its brand value and also the promise of Xiaomi’s support.
