Specifications of Vivo V40 Pro unveiled before V40 launch in India: Details on camera, chipset and other features
The Vivo V40 series, consisting of the V40 and V40 Pro smartphones, is scheduled to be released in India in August 2024. Prior to the launch, Vivo has revealed key features and specifications of the upcoming V40 series. Here is a rundown of everything we currently know.
Vivo V40 series camera details and more revealed
Vivo praised the upcoming Vivo V40 Pro smartphone with a triple camera on the back. It has a 50MP Zeiss main camera with a Sony IMX816 sensor. In addition to this, the Vivo V40 Pro has a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with a Sony IMX816 sensor and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. It also has 2x optical and 50x ZEISS Hyper Zoom. On the front of the Vivo V40 Pro is a 50-megapixel selfie camera with a 92-degree wide-angle view. The smartphone is backed by a 5,500 mAh battery.
Vivo also revealed that the upcoming V40 series smartphone will be available in three colors: Lotus Purple, Ganges Blue and Titanium Grey. Vivo V40 Pro also has IP68 water and dust resistance.
Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro smartphones are expected to be the slimmest smartphones as claimed by the company. These models are likely to feature a 3D curved display and an Infinity Camera Module design. Both the Vivo V40 and V40 Pro smartphones are expected to feature 6.78-inch curved AMOLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate. Its brightness peak is probably up to 4,500 nits.
Reminiscent of Vivo’s recent launches, in June 2024 the Vivo T3 Lite smartphone was launched in India. The Vivo T3 Lite is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and has a battery life of 5,500 mAh. It is available in Majestic Black and Vibrant Green.
The base model of the Vivo T3 Lite was launched with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage at a price of ₹9,999. The other model with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage costs ₹10,999.
Vivo T3 Lite features extended RAM technology that supports up to 6GB of RAM. The smartphone has a 6.56-inch LCD screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a peak brightness of 840 nits. It runs on FunTouch OS 14, which is based on Android 11. The phone has IP64 water resistance and is protected from water.
