Integration with SIRI
According to a report by Electrek, a new update to version 4.24.0 has appeared in the App Store. In this update, Tesla introduced support for Apple Shortcuts. This integration allows Tesla drivers to issue various commands to their vehicles using Siri voice commands. It eliminates the need for manual interaction with the application.
The Shortcuts app helps you to create personal shortcuts from the apps of your choice.
The Tesla app had previously enabled remote control functions for car owners, allowing them to control several features of their vehicle through their iPhone. With Siri Shortcuts now integrated, drivers can use Apple’s voice assistant Siri to interact with their Tesla vehicles using the familiar “Hey Siri” command.
The range of commands performed by Siri Shortcuts covers several functions. According to Apple Insider, users can now use voice commands to lock and unlock the Tesla, open and close the trunk, control the charging port, and start or stop charging. In addition, the integration extends to advanced functions such as enabling and disabling Sentry Mode and Dog Mode, as well as other basic vehicle controls.

This integration marks Tesla’s second strategic move to align with Apple’s ecosystem. Notably, Tesla introduced Apple Music support as part of a holiday software update in December, further enhancing its users’ in-car entertainment options.
