Unlock Your Creative Potential: Instagram’s New Features Make Photo Editing Easier Than Ever!
Instagram, the popular photo and video sharing platform owned by Meta, has rolled out new features including more than 20 new photo filters, 10 new English text-to-speech voices, six new text fonts and custom AI stickers. These additions give users more ways to edit their content before sharing it.
“Today we’re sharing several improvements to reels, feeds, carousels, and stories, as well as new insights to help you better understand how your content is performing,” the Meta-owned app wrote in a blog post.
According to the company, Instagram is adding 10 new English text-to-speech voices to choose from, available in select countries, and six new text fonts and styles available in hundreds of languages. To make your text stand out even more, you can now also add outlines to improve clarity.
The application owned by Meta is also testing new ways to use the audio browser or trending audio. You can now quickly go to the audio page from the top of the camera roll.
Sketches get a new look! Editing running reels is now easier with all saved sketches displayed in a streamlined way. Soon you’ll be able to preview, rename, and schedule your sketches in advance.
Instagram is also testing a new feature that lets you pull clips with audio from our clip hub to add to your reel. “Explore creative interactions with your fans by experimenting with memes and encouraging them to create their own remix,” the app said.
The social media platform is also adding a new feature that will allow users to create their own stickers for their reels and stories using artificial intelligence. Driven by Meta’s Segment Anything AI model, a sticker can be created by uploading your own photos or videos from your phone’s Camera Roll or choosing from eligible photos and videos on Instagram.
Instagram has also added more than 20 new filters that can be used to adjust the look of your photos. Some filters add subtle color changes, while others completely change the look by adding blur and other effects. All filters have an intensity slider to adjust the final look.
Additionally, in the coming months, Instagram will offer creators the ability to see how many people are watching their Reel moment by moment with our interactive retention graph.
