Vivo Unveils V29 Pro 5G and V29 5G Smartphones in India: Price, Features, and More
Chinese smartphone brand Vivo on Wednesday launched its two new V-series smartphones – Vivo V29 5G and Vivo V29 Pro 5G – in India. Both the smartphones feature a 50MP OIS night camera coupled with ‘Smart Aura Light’ technology, a 6.78-inch curved 120Hz display and an India-exclusive ‘Wedding Portrait’ camera feature.

The Vivo V29 Pro 5G price in India starts at Rs 39,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant and Rs 42,999 for the higher 12GB + 256GB variant. The smartphone is available in two color options – Himalayan Blue and Space Black. The Vivo V29 Pro will be available for purchase from October 10 on Flipkart, vivo India online store and all partner stores.
On the other hand, the Vivo V29 will be available in two storage variants starting October 17 at Rs 32,999 (8GB + 128GB) and Rs 36,999 (12GB + 256GB) on Flipkart, Vivo India online store and retail stores. The device’s color options are Himalayan Blue, Majestic Red (color changing) and Space Black.
The company has also announced offers for the latest V29 series. Interested buyers can get up to 10 percent cashback with an upgrade bonus of up to Rs 4,000 on purchase. The brand is also offering an instant discount of up to Rs 3,500 on HDFC and SBI banks and an additional Rs 3,500 upgrade bonus.

The Vivo V29 Pro and V29 smartphones have a borderless curved 3D display. Both devices have a 6.78-inch 1.5K 3D Curved 120 Hz display, HDR 10+ certification and a peak brightness of 1300 nits with a pixel density of 452 PPI.
Vivo V29 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset while Vivo V29 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor. Both devices run on FunTouch OS 13 based on Android 13. As for the battery, both the V29 Pro and V29 have a large 4600mAh battery with 80W FlashCharge.
In terms of camera specifications, both the devices have a triple rear camera setup. The Pro model has a 50MP OIS night camera with an IMX766 main sensor and a 50MP Eye AF front camera for video calls and selfies. The Vivo V29, on the other hand, has a 50-megapixel OIS night camera, an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, and a 50-megapixel Eye AF selfie camera.
