WhatsApp May Bring New Chat Attachments Menu Soon: Everything You Need To Know
WhatsApp update: Meta-owned popular instant messaging app WhatsApp is reportedly working on redesigned chat attachment menus. The old user interface was really outdated in appearance. Now it finally offers a more modern and intuitive experience for users.
Thanks to the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.6.17 update, we discovered that WhatsApp is also working on bringing a similar redesign to the chat attachment menu on Android,” WhatsApp tracker WABetaInfo reported.
According to a screenshot shared by WABetaInfo, the instant messaging app is currently working on a redesigned chat attachment menu as it differs from the current interface.
The report mentioned that the new user interface is definitely clearer and offers a better user-friendly experience. Also, a modified chat attachment menu will certainly help users navigate that menu if more options are added to this table in the future.
A new chat attachment menu is under development and will be released in a future update of the app. In related news, WhatsApp is also rolling out a new feature to some beta testers on Android and iOS devices that will allow users to see a list of groups they have in common with the contact you’re looking for.
Beta users will see a new Shared Groups section when they search for contacts in the search bar. The new feature gives users more information when they search for contacts in the search bar.
It is currently available to some testers and is expected to roll out to more users in the coming days, according to the report. This feature is the same as the feature introduced in WhatsApp Desktop that allows users to see shared groups with their contacts without opening their chat data to see a list of shared groups.
