WhatsApp Unveils Revamped Restore Chats Screen Interface
WhatsApp, the instant messaging app owned by Meta, is reportedly rolling out a new user interface for the recovery chat screen. The app aims to make this screen much more intuitive than before and allows users to choose how they want to restore their chat history.

According to a screenshot shared by WABetaInfo, the instant messaging app introduced a new user interface for the recovery chat screen. Now WhatsApp offers users the option to transfer their chat history from their old phone without using Google Drive.
It is important to note that this update also introduces an issue with the widget, as it is unable to load and display the latest posts. According to the report, beta users will have to wait for a new bug fix update to get a final fix for this issue.
The new interface for the recovery chat screen is available to some beta testers who install the latest WhatsApp beta updates for Android, and will roll out to more people in the coming days.

Mark announced on his Meta channel that WhatsApp makes it “simpler to create WhatsApp groups by naming them after the people in the chat when you don’t want to come up with another name”.
The meta notes that this new feature will roll out over the next few weeks, and it’s meant to help when you need to form a group quickly and don’t want to think about a name. Right now you have to name a group before you can start chatting.
