Xiaomi 13 Ultra with Leica camera launched, comes to global market

Xiaomi is all set to launch its new Ultra device in the global market this month. The company has confirmed the launch of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, which showcases new camera prowess with the help of Leica. Xiaomi has already given us a teaser of its prowess with the Xiaomi 13 Pro this year, and now it’s time to take the imaging quotient to the next level.

The company has shared a teaser of the product and confirmed its launch this month. Xiaomi says: “We believe that the perfect lens should have a large aperture, small size and high imaging performance throughout the focal length range.” You can also see the silhouette of the camera lens from the post here:

The Xiaomi 12S Ultra was the brand’s first major product with Leica, but the company decided not to launch it outside of China.

This year, the company feels ready to bring its Ultra phones, and after getting a taste of the 12S Ultra and 13 Pro earlier this year, we can’t wait to see what the company has to show with the Xiaomi 13 Ultra.

We’ll likely see more product teasers in the coming days as the company builds up before the big launch event in April. We got to use both Xiaomi phones and it’s fair to say that the company has definitely improved with its camera technology thanks to Leica’s expertise. Xiaomi has positioned its premium Leica phones as a popular choice for professionals, and the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is likely to see a continuation of that strategy.

In terms of hardware, expect Xiaomi to use the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with around 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. We’re looking forward to the 12S Ultra’s gigantic form factor and the design of the rear camera module. The global launch suggests that Xiaomi could bring the 13 Ultra to the Indian market in the coming months.
