Generative AI will unlock great experiences in the next 4-5 years: AMD CEO
It’s amazing how creative AI has captured everyone’s imagination and AI will help us unlock great experiences for our customers in the next four to five years, Dr. Lisa Su, CEO of leading semiconductor company AMD, has highlighted.
In an interaction with HP CEO Enrique Lores, Dr. Su said that AI is currently the biggest megatrend in the world of technology and ChatGPT is now capturing our imaginations.
“I think of AI as enabling us to make each of us much more productive — our businesses, our personal lives, and helping us be better at important things like healthcare and data insights, etc. and so on,” he said at HP’s flagship “HP Amplify Partner Conference 2023” event here.
He said that AI is now integrated into every AMD product in the edge and cloud.
“We recently launched the Ryzen 7000 series processors with integrated strong artificial intelligence. We want to offer our customers and users a different experience. I think AI is that technology and I love the productivity of it,” noted Dr. Su.
AMD’s latest Ryzen 7000 series processors are now available in both laptop and desktop SKUs.
