One major alteration expected in iQOO Neo 9 Pro as it potentially arrives in India in January
iQOO has built a reputation for high-performance smartphones that offer good value for money. The company seems ready to double down on this habit with its latest addition to the Neo lineup, the iQOO Neo 9 Pro. Notably, this smartphone could soon be available in India as well.
While the iQOO Neo 9 Pro and its counterpart, the Neo 9, are slated to launch in China on December 27, according to tipster and tech YouTuber Mukul Sharma, the Indian debut could follow suit in January next month.

Sharma has also spilled the beans on the specifications, mentioning that the Indian variant of the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which was Qualcomm’s flagship chipset before the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Sharma also confirmed that the phone will be available in dual-tone red and white with a textured finish on the back.
It is worth noting that the Chinese version of the same device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, which suggests that the iQOO may be creating a differentiator for the Indian market.
As for other specifications, the device is expected to feature a large 6.78-inch OLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. It comes with a dual rear camera consisting of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX 920 as the main sensor and a second 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle unit. A 16-megapixel front-facing selfie shooter is also expected. In addition, it can be shipped with Android 14 operating system.
